With over a decade of hands-on experience in trades, custom manufacturing, and operations management, Joe brings a unique blend of precision craftsmanship and leadership to every project. His journey in custom manufacturing is rooted in a strong background in metal fabrication, welding, and design.
A testament to his craftsmanship is his custom 1965 Triumph TR6 build—restored from the frame up. This project showcased his comprehensive skills: fabricating custom straight pipe exhausts, executing precise paintwork on the fender and gas tank, and machining bearing races in the neck to accommodate a Harley wide glide front end. The result: a one-of-a-kind motorcycle that perfectly balances form and function.
As an operations manager, Joe has demonstrated excellence in leading diverse production teams and optimizing workflows. His innovative spirit led to the introduction of the InternaWeld repair system, which successfully opened new repair markets and elevated customer satisfaction levels.
Drawing from his military experience, Joe brings refined expertise in team management, resource optimization, and rigorous safety standards. Whether building custom motorcycles, streamlining manufacturing processes, or crafting new solutions, he remains dedicated to delivering excellence, efficiency, and quality craftsmanship in every endeavor.
Sam
Owner & Operator
Growing up in his father’s garage, Sam’s passion for mechanics was kindled early. Working for a dollar an hour, he learned the fundamentals of automotive repair while helping his father restore and flip cars—a family business that funded their motorcycle-focused camping adventures. His first real connection to motorcycles came through an old Yamaha YZ80, though he’d spent countless hours riding passenger with his father before that.
Sam’s professional journey began at a Sunoco service center during high school, where he developed his characteristic attention to detail and shop organization. Post-graduation, he entered the automotive industry specializing in German vehicles before a chance encounter during a motorcycle inspection led him into motorcycle mechanics. His expertise grew rapidly, eventually leading to a position as crew chief on an AMA race team.
What started as working for a friend’s motorcycle business evolved into an opportunity to purchase the shop, transforming it into 2 Wheel Performance. As an owner who remains hands-on in daily operations, Sam has cultivated a unique shop culture where staff becomes family. This approach, combining technical expertise with genuine relationships, has created an environment where exceptional service and personal connection go hand in hand.
